Our Funds
+
kōura offers investors nine different funds, which we combine to develop your personalised portfolio. All our funds are passive, meaning you can invest in thousands of underlying companies and securities.
Our passive strategy means that you are investing in the broader markets, you are not relying on kōura to pick individual stocks for you. Your investment will move in line with the market that your fund has been designed to track.
kōura invests all of its international funds exclusively into passive funds managed by the world’s largest fund managers.
kōura invests its Fixed Income and NZ Equities funds directly with the assistance of our strategic partner Hobson Wealth partners. Hobson Wealth Partners is one of New Zealand’s largest wealth managers and trusted by thousands of clients. So a great partner for kōura.
Fund returns displayed here are for illustrative purposes only. When assessing Fund Performance, you should typically look at longer term returns, but the kōura Core Funds have only been in existence since October 2019 and the kōura Specialty Funds have only been in existence since May 2022 - so we are unable to provide longer returns. And always remember, that past performance is not necessarily an indicator of future performance.
The fund costs shown below excludes the facilitator fee of 0.3% (for clients who use the services of a facilitator) and the $30 annual administration fee (charged to all members over the age of 18).
These are four different funds that are made up of higher risk, higher return funds invested in shares and other equities. These funds are intended to provide good long term growth, but may experience periods of significant volatility.
These are lower risk investment funds that are appropriate for investors who are close to retirement or purchasing their first home or alternatively used as a diversification tool to reduce the volatility of a broader portfolio.
Income funds typically deliver lower returns, though will have a lower likelihood (though it can still happen) of incurring a loss.
These funds have the potential for high returns but can also be very high risk. Given the very high risk profile, a Specialty Fund is typically given a small allocation in a broader portfolio. You will be limited to investing a maximum of 10% of your investment in each Specialty Fund.
