Every Kōura investment strategy is built and approved by our Investment Committee — an experienced group with over 60 years combined experience in global financial markets. Our process is:
Determine the exposures
Our Investment Committee decides what types of assets investors should be investing in to build a balanced KiwiSaver plan. Core exposure to global stocks and fixed interest, specialty themes like Bitcoin, Property, and Clean Energy, with a mix of active and passive strategies
Global search
We review hundreds of investment options worldwide to find the best fit for each fund. If we can't find the right option, we build it ourselves. We look at: How sustainable is the fund, what is the track record, and what is the fund trying to achieve.
Strategic Combination
We blend global and local expertise. International allocations go to specialists abroad, while we focus on what we do best here in New Zealand: Passive, active, and hybrid approaches, Global specialists for international markets, Local expertise for NZ investments.
