Listen: News of the money world / Ep 32 / Interest rate hikes, the housing market, and some lessons from the past

Welcome to News of the Money World, a podcast series that we're doing in partnership with NZ Everyday Investor. It's a short, Weekly show, about what’s happening in the finance world and how that affects you, the everyday Kiwi.

Another week, another interest rate hike (or at least it feels like it), and unfortunately mortgage rates increase with it. But that has meant the housing market has supposedly started to cool, so in the latest episode, Rupert and Darcy take this as an opportunity to give an update on the current climate and look to the past to help provide us with a few extra lessons.

Tune in next on Wednesday the 1st of June, at 5:30 pm on the NZ Everyday Investor Facebook page
